Last summer, I had a bigger than basketball size (at least 12” diameter)bald faced hornets nest in the soffit of my house. They are a very aggressive wasp and will attack even if you’re 50’ from the nest if they feel threatened, so I had to get rid of it myself(I’m not about to pay someone to do it). I sprayed the opening at night with wasp spray. After five nights and five cans of spray the activity went down. I ripped opened the hive and found the queen still working! Froze my ass off on the dozer all day yesterday, though it was 50*, a cold wind coming down the mountains off the snow was chilly. I’m wearing my thinsulate coveralls today!!

Supposed to be 66 and sunny here today. Wife ran the tractor and disc plus the tiller yesterday. Got about half of the garden spot ready to plant.

Wow. Just saw on the news, North and South Carolina had a little snow yesterday. Go figure.

@Mudder . I was out to supper with my friend that raises horses in Ontario last night. He said he just sold a horse to someone in Georgia. Got good money. His stallion is worth $50 K. Beautiful horse.

anything to do with horses is big money, horses, horse boarding trailers, what ever you talk about a horse is five times what you think it should be. wifes friends have horses, gave my daughter a few lessons and fed them a few times but you don't want to know how much that is normally.
