As for the person that loves me and wants to kiss me, I didn’t see your post. For some reason. But have a nice day anyway. Next time, post it so that the person you love can see it too.
😘
Caper
You’re confusing me brother....🤔

It’s up to 45 degrees.
A breeze coming out of the north. But still nice.
😎
Caper
We’re only going to hit 37* today. But by Tuesday we’ll be low 60’s and I’ll be connecting water to the camper again....🙏🏻

You don’t think it will get cold again. It will still get cold up here yet.
Caper
Oh sure it will. But for 7-10 days the lows will be above 30*, so I’ll hook up water to the camper late mornings, and it will be available all day and evening. When I go to bed, I’ll disconnect and repeat every morning.

Now this is what we did late November through late December. After Christmas, because it was getting hard freezes, and eventually lows regularly in the teens and single digits, I disconnected altogether.

If/when hard freezing lows return, I’ll winterize again which I have developed a quick and easy system for....😎

Suns out, very little breeze and very chilly at about 30*
Stopped at an abandoned homestead yesterday on our ride. There was a large apple orchard with considerable dead wood and I cut a jig and loaded it on the rear floorboards of the Talon. Smoking poppers with it now...

These are file photos from the first time we found it, thus the green foliage....

37F headed for mid 40's. Cloudy. 10 day forecast shows upper 50's next week...we'll see but the snow will be gone and mud will persist until the dry weather comes back...love the 10% humidity in the summer but not the forest fires.
We get yellow jackets some years but not always bad. Can disrupt outside eating some though.

Any idea what year that was built ?
And I love old apple orchards. All the old farms around the camp all have a few Apple trees on them. My dad said there was a guy that came around to the farms on horse and buggy and sell the little Apple trees. It was a ready source of vitamins and good.
And yummy.

It stands within the national forest now, but there’s still people around that are members of the original family, and I know a guy who knows them and hope to have that history at some date...😎

But these type ruins are ubiquitous to New Mexico and predate statehood by a long shot. Spanish family built and could be anytime pre 1880’s.....

That’s about when the camp was built. Just before 1875. Ish. Scottish for sure up here. They had nuns and a priest or two for teachers. And definitely the strap. Well, I got the strap a few times as a kid. Old bats.

Aren't they mostly in SW BC and VC? Some sneaked into WA and not sure what their status is at the moment I thought the plan was to release sterile females to control them. Worried... really not much...we'll deal with it. They came on ship and maybe we should send them back that way.
