No, that’s the BBQ sauce that the smoke turns so dark. 180*-200* for 6 hours...

They should be very tasty. Wife is a pepper wimp but I wonder how they work in the air fryer without the smoke? I have done them in the oven with just an avacado oil rub-down and pink salt sprinkle...limp but good.

That was a couple years ago in the Highlands of Cape Breton. They have a bunch this year but I don’t think that much. Good for the snowmobiles. 😊 It will be until June before I can get up and do some trout fishing up there.

The meat really needs the low heat for the long haul to be tender, I would think...🤔

Aha, we hadn’t been able to view our security cameras or smart thermostat remotely at the lake house in Hot Springs for about a week either...same thing....🙄

Yeah, I’m trying to treat it with respect and care too...😍

My granite project required 1-1/2 slabs (typically 5’x10’) and they required I buy two full slabs. So, when they asked me if I wanted the scraps, it was an absolute yes, knowing that one piece would be sizable....hoping to make an outdoor table of it someday...
