Here you go. Kinda ugly on that truck but it’s solid.

I wish I had something like that so I could put the pioneer in the bed of my truck without having to haul the trailer if I’m just going somewhere for the day. My neighbors all told me there are hundreds of miles of trails around here I am anxious to explore them

You’ve got a h brand new flatbed Ford, some flatbeds are longer the factory trucks, it might fit.

Well another weekend in the books but this one was the first big weekend with the Talon.
Really enjoyed the Talon weekend. There’s both good and bad about the machine but overall it’s just flat out fun. Did best I could to avoid maneuvering against the trees and actually feel pretty fortunate I didn’t break more. It’s a little harder, grabbed brakes a bit more. For the most part she did good in the tight stuff, and that’s what was most concerned about.
Now when you give her just a little more space it becomes so agile and easy. Very fluid and on point. Everything about this machine is based off of speed that’s what it truly loves. Did finally play around with the sport mode on the Fox Live, you’ve really got to be clipping along over rough crap for it to work well, there is a substantial difference. The Live is softer then the stock X. For the extra money I’d probably say just send stock shocks out and save from Live Valve but it works. Also used Launch Mode…yes it out pulled a stock machine but other then coming off the line it’s not something I’ll ever use again. Something about an almost 9k clutch dump sketches me out some.
One really can’t compare the Talon to the Pioneer in most ways. They compliment each other very well though.

Last weekend was a little hard on the sport machine. For the most part she stays up with the Pioneers but you do have to punish her a bit to get that done, which I unfortunately was planning for, our woods are a bit tight to be slamming a Talon through. I will be going to a locker front end by fall, I can’t handle all the low speed slipping, probably accounted to a lot of the front end damage.
Boy what a lot of fun she is though, and it’s not going away anytime soon. Build up and build better. We had a smaller Polaris go along the ride and he was b****ing and left long before we got into the tight stuff so I guess she did ok. 😉

so much for 8400 synthetic rope, and never trust a friend on a long super slick hill to make sure you’re out the way before he goes. That was a hard hit. Nothing he could do but test out the bumpers.
Got some work to do but it was fun creating some of it!
