I’ve posted this elsewhere but figured I would hear as well as this might be an adventure to say the least. Headed out now. There’s a 15-20 square mile area this machine is at and it’s not on a designated trail, the guy walked out through the trees last fall and it’s been there since so he’s not exactly sure where. Posted on a local site and no one other then a friend and I are coming, ridiculous. it’s at is very untamed and mountainous area I haven’t much time in, going to be a good time.

We got into snow early on and had to detour around one mountain because of real bad snow slides. Hit the f***n cliff side hoping we wouldn’t need to come back out but the other path was avalanched out. Cliff is 1500 feet to the bottom where several people had died and machines at the bottom. It’s quad use only. Found the RMax but dirt bike trail was soft so tires kept going over sliding, we had it snatch block all machines roofs over to keep them up. I had to drive through the trees to get back around and pull everyone backwards out.
We had to give up on RMax, we were breaking winch line and both saws died. One Polaris shattered front diff and other had belt slipping. We towed one on/off all way back. Since one path was shot we had to go up cliff side with broken equipment. Finally got to the dirt road at 12:30 this morning and kissed the ground. Owner of RMax was waiting at bottom of dirt road and offered my Polaris friend a trailer. That was the night.

She’s a couple weeks out due to the s*** show. Couldn’t actually get close, anything that touched that edge slid over. We need more people saws and equipment. Plus s*** to dry

Wish I could bring the excavator but it’s top speed is maybe 5 mph and fixing the trails would make them less challenging

Then they’d be all packed with tons of sxs’ and Jeeps like everywhere else. And rules and more laws would follow. Sometimes they suck but keeps the riffraff out😉

Exactly why the few videos I upload to utoob are only visible with a link, I don't share my favorite places with the masses. I found them by exploring, they can do the same. Off road is strictly forbidden out here, I am on the 'road'. This is why I love GAIA, 😍 I'd have never found this (road) without it (and had looked for it before).
