When installing the torq locker in the p500 can someone tell me if these “cupped” washers go back in with the torq locker? The directions seem kind of vague. I put the thin shims back in but am unsure if these washers are still used. Thanks!

Great, thanks! I didn’t think they did and I already have it installed and all back together. Would have been very disappointed to find out they were needed. 😅
On another note.. when reinstalling everything I had a hard time getting the passenger side axel back in. Managed to get it, took it for a test drive and when turning it sounded like something popped. I jacked up the front end and now when I spin the front passenger side wheel it has a little “hop” to it. Any ideas? Broken axel u joint?

Are you sure you're not feeling the TL skip over the cogs? That is normal, if you listen close you should hear it when turning while not in 4wd.....this is normal

Yes, I am sure it’s not the locker ratcheting. It’s definitely a hitch of some sort that makes the wheel jump.

Short axle and steep angle. I believe it was @nctrailboss that discovered it first which made me check mine, it did it too. My guess is they all do it before any mods.

This doesn’t look right to me.. the hitching wasn’t just when it’s jacked up, it was doing it as I drove it into the garage.
