Couple things showed up today. @906UP sent over a set of much needed radius rods for the left rear and @Tramguage1 sent a good muffler tip. Also a t-shirt. Think my daughter has a few of those from Takeover still.
Tomorrow I’ll start back in with a little bit now. Thanks so much guys it’s really appreciated! Damn nice to see parts coming😎
Tomorrow at lunch I’ll be calling around to a couple dealers and see if can knock a few more items off. Feels damn slow. Hopefully she starts showing progress shortly.

Busy working on the rear of the machine. Exhaust got hit pretty hard, bent up the exhaust tip and all frame/exhaust mounts fairly good. Ripped a tab out of ROPS that attaches the exhaust cover and destroyed the cover mount and heat shield.
Straightened and rewelded the ROPS mounts, heated up and bent back the mounting bar for cover, hammer and dollied around heat shield, heated up and got the cover straight and installed new tip on exhaust after straightening up the brackets and exhaust hangers.
Other then cleaning up welds and the blue paint at least the rear section on the machine is done.
Going to go through the machine and get everything straightened out then pull back off and do bodywork and paint around.

I'm just now seeing a glimmer of hope for your mechanical skills! HA!

Lol. Going to be a lot of repairing crap on this machine, be a whole lot easier and quicker with all replacement items but I don’t have that option. Getting moving😊

Nothing to be embarrassed about CP I’ve struggled quitting as well. With me it’s about stress and it definitely makes me smoke more. I am down to about 6 to 7 a day but on a real stressful day this is me.

Then you aren’t trying hard enough. I hid in my house for three weeks and smoked an ounce of weed. After that time I tried smoking a cigarette and it was the nastiest thing ever. At that point I had to start my count over again. That was 16 years ago last December and I’ve never had a drag ever since. On the other hand I was a mean motherf***ing son of a b**** for a solid year

Your probably right on the not trying hard enough part but I am trying though and I’m gonna beat this habit one day.

New radiator showed up. I’d heard that they sometimes come in bunged up and people b****ing about it. So I called around to multiple dealers and sure as s*** found one with a couple bent tabs. Worked to my advantage saving 75$ for a 1 minute fix lol. Learned that trick with Honda parts years ago on pioneer by calling around and finding broken factory windshield then having tinted glass cut for it, saved almost 300 that time. Not scared to try to save a buck.

Another part showed up today. @GPR1500SC woke me up Saturday saying he was sending something long and black. Oh god😳 Rear axle he had leftover from his upcoming build, (btw that’ll be one to watch!)
Awesome man thank you. gotta good spot for it! People on this site rock. Maybe @JACKAL was right saying you meet the nicest people on a Honda.

As parts are coming it’s showing where frame is pushed. Looks like the front shock tower mount is over ever so slightly. Noted for later. This is why lightly building the machine before any frame pulls or cuts are to be made. It’s good to have all the information ahead of making a mistake. Dash, side plastics, fender, grill, fender braces and driver door will tell a lot more of the story.
