98 12v will be up for sale soon. Have toyed with the idea of selling the other first gen, just haven’t brought myself to do it.You ever sell the red one..... '93 I think it was

Stupid operators! 🤣😂So…little issue this weekend. Embarrassing because it is my fault. I dropped a massive 4 core radiator in my truck and it sat close to the fan. Wasn’t a problem till last December when I’d put tape over the grill to keep radiator warmer in below zero temp at 80mph. Hit final hill to camp and heard a whack. Popped hood and realized fan got into radiator support bar. I cut bar out and continued driving the truck.
I figure what happened is fan was pulling harder because of restricted air flow and lost its clearance.
Sunday coming home from camp with wife following in boat I heard a tinny sound that then went under the truck as we were pulling into boat check station. After they flagged us through I noticed a slight vibration to the always smooth Cummins idle, looked at temp gauge it was 180 when normal here would’ve been 165. Popped hood and saw huge hole in radiator and fan blade completely missing, water everywhere.
Figure the blade got crack last December and finally broke loose 9 months later. Could’ve rounded up parts but just needed day to end so called my buddy for tow, went home to to drop off boat and came back to tow camper/Talon with Sequoia. The mall cruiser got us home. JAT. Toyota out pulled my buddy with a PowerStroke tow truck up the 6% grade of 4th July pass🤣
Kinda sucked but couple hundred in parts and a little lost pride and she’ll be back going shortly. First issue in 3 years and it wasn’t truck’s fault. I’ll fix.

Dave is, indeed, one of the good guys. He invited me up for the 4th of July last year and every one of his friends and family treated me like we'd been buddies forever. That's a great group of people. 😍 Life got in the way this year or I'd have been back for round 2.As @CumminsPusher mentioned, the boss and I spent a few days with him and his better half and son Mikey.
The weather changed all Daves plans he had, but DAMN we had a great time. We moved things around and the time turned out fantastic.
@CumminsPusher is one of the good guys!!! thank you guys for the great times. Next time ill bring the R4.
Thank you guys so much for coming out. I sometimes get bummed when things don’t go as planned but you gotta just go with it and keep rolling and we all did that and everything worked out how it’s supposed to. Like it did. Nice spending time with you both, you’re very good people and genuine, that’s what it’s all about! Thank youAs @CumminsPusher mentioned, the boss and I spent a few days with him and his better half and son Mikey.

Sure missed you this year. Everyone thought you were coming this year and asked about it. I told them next year. By the way round two will be Lk Elsie, snow kept us from it last year, there’s unfinished business😉Dave is, indeed, one of the good guys.
