P1000 Cumminspusher-the New Ride

Third build on a Pioneer platform in a year it can only get better. More lighting, more automation, more protection, more innovation, more storage, more ability, more suspension, more passengers and more fun. Less weight, less vibrations, less roof. Tiring.

Coors Light all around after we make the attempt in the 500! ;) If we survive of course! If we don't you can salute us with one of your dark beers!
I made it up onto the ridge one day when I had the highway tires on. I did take a chunk out of the sidewall on a rock.

So I ordered the wide spool Warn so I can get that 3/8 rope all on there. Price difference was 20$ and I definitely won't have to cut rope. If doing this might as well be right and not sacrifice length for strength. Probably order longer rope and see exactly how much goes on, Couldn't find anyone running 3/8 on 4500 on search but I'm guessing another 15ft View attachment 35495
Knowing my luck it doesn't matter how long the winch line is, it will still be one foot too short. Lol

Settled in on 5/16 12k break strength rope at 94ft and I'll cut to fit. After some checking it looks like that's max to get through the factory hole in the spool.

Suspect we can get around 70-75ft on the spool without overcrowding.Hope it fits, pretty tight.

Roughly 30 - 35' on a drum that takes 50' of 1/4" cable... I'll double check in the next week or so. I have a couple of 600' spools, and we just wind it on straight from the spool until the winch is full... that is the reason for the rough measurement.

I may have overestimated a bit on the amount then. Is this a wide spool?

We lost the Warn wireless remote for our winch this weekend so I decided to try one of these. Ordered two sets in case we loose another remote however it comes with two. Should work fine but if not still have the ol trusty dash switch. We don't do the corded remote anymore it's just too much to carry.
