P1000 Cumminspusher-the New Ride

Third build on a Pioneer platform in a year it can only get better. More lighting, more automation, more protection, more innovation, more storage, more ability, more suspension, more passengers and more fun. Less weight, less vibrations, less roof. Tiring.

You ever run into ice build up issue on you winter rides.

I ran 70 miles yesterday in 12-20 degree temps. 6" of snow. 30 creek crossings and my front end, rear end and frame, skids Had so much ice on it the brakes faded and the suspension was locking up. The wheels where one solid ice disc. Any suggestions on prevention?

Wd40 first? I'm not sure. We had ice buildup but wasn't bad. Nothing stuck to the skids

I had the same thing happening to me yesterday... I'm not sure what was scariest... the brake fade, or the popping coming from the neighborhood of my new Elkas!lol

Makes sense to do it while it's torn down awaiting parts! Brake calipers could use some love as well;)

i would suggest a 6 prison carbon fiber set up with stainless steel lines and laser cut rotors but I better not.

They will show if you ever do wheel spacers

I never will that will cut 25% of our trails off it's tight. Won't do anything with width, that's a big reason we'll probably be staying factory wheels
