With at least an 11’ garage to hold the P1K, that doesn’t leave enough living space. The squaw brings an unbelievable amount of gear.....
you too huh, I figure and it feels like about 3k over dry, fluids, coolers, food, clothes and bedding for my two women and her female friend weighs quite a bit too I'm sure.

I had a truck for years I just don't like them, had a Cherokee before that and Yukon and avalanche after I like being able to use the space easier. I'm sure fifth wheel would haul better but I don't want to have wasted space back there most of the time, I can just throw wood or 8ft stuff in the ave with out worrying about strapping it down or tarping it off like you do in a truck. there are better wd bars too you get what you pay for and the cheap ones don't really control the trailer like the reese dual cam setup I have now, trailer is locked in one line and auto locks and unlocks backing up, so much better for wind and loading the front suspension

So much of this stuff we discuss boils down to opinion, not right or wrong and we share them here and move forward accordingly. I pulled from the bumper all my life, but I’m really liking the advantages of the 5th wheel, and the loft bedroom is just really cool.

agree, its all opinion. that's why I got the bumper camper and enclosed for the utv, on the smaller ones you don't have the room for family and the ones that would be big and do everything probably going to be 150k with the truck and camper that has room and no comprimises. we just cant afford that

no but I will say I like forest river, the one I have now is a 33ft wildwood, no problems yet really. the round front ones tow nice and stable, a lot of cool stuff on it and my parents had one lasted quite a while with very few problems too.

That’s 38’ and will be around 14K lbs. loaded. Do you have a 3/4 ton truck? I’m just asking because I hauled a 27’ bumper pull that was 9500 lbs, with SXS and all gear and it was rough behind a 1/2 ton.

right. 8646 it says on their site for uvw, which is unloaded vehicle weight thats no fluids cargo. 12-14k total really with all your crap and the utv

I don’t think a 1000-5 would fit in that 25HFX

Our Puma would have enough height for a P1k, the door height 84 in. Here is picture of our P5 (76 in tall) inside and at RRB last October, 1/2 ton Chevy.

You guys would really pack more than 2K lbs over the rated capacity of the camper? GVW isnt 12-14 so I wouldn't plan on packing that much. I'm curious if 2000lbs in the far aft would make it squirrelly though.

I was just starting to look at some of the Pumas.
I have seen quite a few in other brands like forest river w/ 10 foot garages but the P1K5 is 10ft so that seems a little tight. Very few 11+ garages. I have been use to tent camping so the goal would be to pack very minimal stuff....Except that big rock with wheels in the back.

Oh and my wife goes on a week vacation in a carry on bag so we know how to go light
